Hi Moms,
I love taking my kids to the Walnut Room at Macys in Chicago every year to have lunch and sit by the beautiful Christmas tree they have. But this year, I'd prefer to stay away from the malls and stay closer to home in the Northwest Suburbs. Do any of you know of a nice restuarant that is decorated as nicely as the Walnut Room but is closer to home or at least not in the city of Chicago?

May I suggest that you put your geographic information in the title of your post so it goes to more people in your area? You might be more responses! Sorry I can't help you but I bet there are a lot of Mamapedia people who are familiar with your area!
I would recommend Millrose on Barrington Road - I think the suburb is South Barrington. They have the place decked out and it is so pretty this time of year.
