My husband and I are going out tonight and I was hoping to go some place new for dinner. We are taking our 1 year old, even though she is great when we go out to eat, we are still looking for something where we won't be out of place with a baby. We are looking for somewhere that we can eat for under $50. We don't drink, so the food can be a little more expensive. I feel we always end up at the same places (Outback, Uncle Julios, Blue Fish). Anyone have any recommendations? We would like something in Allen, but we are willing to go to Frisco, McKinney, and Plano. And something with either reservations, call ahead seating, or not a long wait. Thanks.

What can I do next?

Watters Creek has Mi Cocini, Cheesecake Factory, Brio, PF Changs, Grimaldi's, Cru Bar......... They have live music there on Thurs-Sat on the green and it is entertaining for children.

Hibachi Rock on Bethany is great. We spend more than $50 though. You probably pay $30/plate minimum with no alcohol.

Patrizio's in Plano (Park/Preston) is great.

Macaroni Grill but it's more like a chain.

We eat out a lot and enjoy these places. You can probably get close to $50, at least make it under $100. We've spent way more at these places we we are wine drinkers and order a bottle of wine so that adds to our bill.

When you really want to go to a great dinner with open budget....MUST DO's are: Del Frisco's, III Forks, Lawry's, Ruth Chris, Sullivan's, just to name a few.
Enjoy! Date nights are VERY important...

UPDATE: we went to Shops of Legacy last night. Nicola's was fantastic. They have a lasagne that is chicken and artichoke...to die for fantastic!!

I love Ralph and Kacoos in Allen. They have a huge fish tank which might also keep your little one entertained if awake. The food is reasonably priced with a little kick. If you would go a little further and want an evening that you could enjoy some outdoors - Mama Emilia in downtown McKinney is great. Plus I love walking around in downtown McKinney and this weather is so pretty.

There is a fairly new Cheddards in Allen - variety of food, very reasonable prices & kid friendly. Always a good choice if you want home cooked food.

V.,
There is an Italian restaurant inside the Stacy's Furniture store. We have never had to wait for a table there. We just went to the new Freebird the Stacy Village. It is the original from which Chipotle copied. We really liked it but it is very loud. BJ's in the same area was good also. I've heard Nate's is excellent but haven't been there yet.
Hope this is helpful.
