Restaurants Along Central in Plano, Where to Have a Babyshower?
Hello ladies,
My family eats out rarely, I've only been to a handful of the restaurants along Central. I'm planning a surprise babyshower for a co-worker and not real sure where to have it. Not looking for a private room neccessarily, but a restaurant that is good obviously and set up maybe in secections for maybe some semi-privacy. Give me your opinions moms. TIA. Would consider Allen too, but I think for most of the attendees Plano would be closer.
So What Happened?™
We had the shower at On The Border in Plano and it was lovely. Thanks for the suggestion.

If Mexican food is an option, I suggest Abuelo's. It's in front of Costco. They have a separate room for parties.
You didn't say what time you were having your shower, but if you consider an "off time", it may not matter if they have sections or a separate room because the restaurant won't be as busy. For example, a late lunch (around 1pm) and definitely not on a Friday. :)

You should try the Hibachi Rock restaurant in Allen it one block from Central on Bethany
They have a great set up that would be perfect

I recently went to Swan Court which is in the old Steak N Ale resturant location off of Central. They had nice meeting room.

I second Hibachi Rock. We love that place and it has good service. It is NOT that much out of the way, just down the street from Watter's Creek. It is the Bethany exit and go east about a mile or less.
Watter's Creek offers Cheesecake Factory, Brio, PF Chang's which are all good.
Carrabba's also has a private room.

I went to a baby shower several years ago at On the Border in Plano, just off Central on 15th. There is a private back room and that's where the shower was held.
