Like everyone else, I also saw the Oprah show. I ran to the store and they were sold out so I ordered it on-line. Before I did though, I read the reviews on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. While some women preferred Sneaky Chef, I would say that most preferred D.D. They said it was easier and better recipes. I did get my DD book yesterday but haven't tried any of the recipes yet.

While not really a "puree" book, I'd have to give a recommendation for Ruth Yaron's "Super Baby Foods". OK, she gets carried away sometimes, but there are a LOT of good ideas in there.

I just bought deceptively delicious and love the format of the book. It isn't difficult. It gives you organizational tips to get started and how to keep it going so the recipes stay quick and easy. I haven't used it yet (I just got it 4 days ago) but have been enjoying reading all of the tips and recomendations. I saw Jessica Sienfeld on Oprah with alot of samples and the audience seemed to love the items she prepared.

My sister bought the Deceptively Delicious book and prepared several of the recipes over the weekend. They were great--my son didn't realize he was inhaling spinach and carrot (in the form of a brownie!!) I also loved the format and design of the book.

I just bought it to!!! I really like hw its formatted also. I am not a cook. My husband is an incredible cook and baker. I actually cant stand cooking around him because hes so good that I get frustrated. So I am excited about this book because she takes it to the very basics! I love it so far! I'm getting my shopping list together so I can puree on sunday!

Jamie,

I saw Deceptively Delicious/Jessica Seinfeld on Oprah with Dr Oz the other day. They showed kids taste testing her foods and their reactions were extremely positive - none of the kids noticed the puree in the foods. It also looks like she has a very simple plan laid out in the book (what you need and how to do it) for making it easy to do - a nice plus. I'll be interested to see what other moms think of the book.

I too saw Oprah with Dr. Oz and Jessica Seinfeld, and her book Deceptively Delicious. With all the kids reactions to not noticing the sneaky veges in the food. I believe that her book would be the best.
Good luck.
