We went to Didier Farms a couple weeks ago. It was a blast! Pony rides, hay rides, pumpkin patch etc. Nice place. Reasonable prices.

I would recommend Didier Farms. It's just north of Buffalo Grove.

Sonny Acres Farm off of North Ave in Carol Stream/West Chicago. I've been going there since I was a kid.

Goebbert's Pumpkin Patch is the best, just google the name and you can find the main website with directions. It is a little further out of the city, it takes about 30 minutes to get there but the ride is worth it. They have everything hayrides, ponyrides, amazing food, and a huge petting and feeding zoo. My kids even got to pet a lion cub last year.
Have fun!
