hey ladies!
i have a bachlorette party to go to tonight, and its NOT the stereotypical party with obscene decorations and male strippers, its just a few of us girls going to the spa then dinner and then relaxing at a hotel.
ANYWAYS we (us bridesmaids) have to get a sentimental little gift for the bride and I have NO idea what to get her!!!

i have to leave in a few short hours to buy her gift.

please give me suggestions as to what i could get her...thank you all so much!

What can I do next?

For one of my shower gifts my cousin gave me a beautiful Swarovski crystal ring holder. Every single time I put my wedding ring on it (probably once a day for the last 7 years), I think of my wonderful, sweet cousin who I see only once a year :)

A beautiful Handkerchief.. Most Bridal stores carry them. I carried one with my bouquet.

A small box of Some really good chocolates to take on her Honeymoon with a small note, wishing them all the best.

What about getting a nice little pottery or silver dish that she can put her wedding ring in, like a little jewelry plate. I never take my ring off and maybe she won't either, but I still like my little dishes for other rings and earrings.

Do you have Anthropologie near you...they always have fabulous stuff like this! I L. that store!

Have you been friends with her for a long time? Maybe you could get her a little gift bag of things that remind you of your life together thus far and include a note that says something like you can't wait to include her new husband on some of the fun in your lives or something. For instance if you guys usually go get your nails done, get her some nail polish. If you both L. ice cream get her a funky bowl (Target has some cute ones) and a scoop, if you often go for coffee, get a little Starbucks $5 card, etc. Put it all in a bag and it's done! It's simple, you can probably get everything at Target or someplace like that and it really is sentimental when you include a note clueing her in on the theme.

How about a journal? I've seen some gorgeous ones. You could write something personal inside and wrap it beautifully.

Just think back on your relationship, times you've spent together, what you have in common and take it from there.
Over the years I've given my bff things like that, a framed photo of the two of us at our junior prom, a CD with some of our favorite songs from high school, a bottle of the rose lotion she was addicted to when we were roommates, stuff like that.

Well sentimental means personal and no one on this site would know her as well as you do. Seriously think of some of the times you spent with her or the things she likes to do and go from there.

I always find good little gifts at Ross/tjmaxx/Marshall's. And you'll get more responses faster if your title matches the request (more people are likely to open the question if they know they can answer it, rather than a generic "please help"!) maybe "help with a bridal shower/bachelorette gift"?

I like the photo idea. If you could wing it print out a photo of the two of you, buy a frame and presto! Could all be done in a Target!!

Does she have a favorite spot to shop? Gift card?

Sometimes if you just go into gift shops without any ideas you can just get an idea by looking at what they have... that is what I would do. If you live within the city of Portland, there has got to be a variety of choices of stores.

Does she have a collection of anything that you know about? Adding to her collection would be considered "a personal" gift.
