Place for Alterations in St. Paul

Can anyone recommend a good place for alterations in the St. Paul area? I have a dress that does not have a slit in it, so it makes walking at any more than a snail's pace difficult. I'd like to have a slit put in it. The dress is silk and rather expensive, though, so I want to make sure the person altering comes highly recommended. Thanks!

I just found this place on White bear ave and county rd C, right onthe corner next door to Bachman's and the military surplus store. They were really nice and inexpensive.

There's another place Tony's Tailors accross from Maplewood Mall that does good alterations.

I know a place in West St Paul that is great! Mirjana's Tailor Shop in the old Signal Hills shopping center. She is very good. Hope this helps!

I have used Make It Fit alterations for two bridesmaids dresses. They do an excellent job quickly and cost less than others around. They are near the Maplewood Mall, 3001 White Bear Ave, phone number is ###-###-####.

John's Tailors - Larpenteur & Lexington in Roseville - phone number ###-###-####. My mother in law has gone to this place for over 15 years and I just got a bridesmaid dress tailored there. It is family owned and they really take care of detail. John is a very good, honest man. Good luck!

have you tried Sew What on St Clair and Fairview?
