Hi-

I just had to write and tell you about my doctor, she is far away in Oakdale Healtheast Clinic, but so well worth it, the best, she is actually a family practice doc, which is great because she stays with you and your child and she is so down to earth and just really great. I just had my 2nd child at St. John's where she does deliver and did her residency, her name is Dr. Shannon Klingsporn, if you could drive a little farther, I think it is well worth it, I live in Stillwater and takes me 20 mins to get to her, and I wouldn't switch! Good luck!

Hi-
I really like "Generations" both a midwife and Ob-Gyn clinic (located on County Road E and Lexington). They are located in Shoreview, and deliver at St. John's. I used them for both of my daughters (planned C-Section (Dr. France) and a VBAC (Mary Hayes)) and was really pleased. My husband also thought they were great- and he can be hard to please.
Thanks

Generations Women's Health Center in Shoreview is great!! I recommend doctor Laura France.. she is wonderful. She delivered my first baby at St. John's and is also my doctor for my second pregnancy. Good luck to you!

I know some nearby OB GYN's that are wonderful and I think they all deliver at St. Johns. At Vadnais Heights clinic, which is just off 35E & Hwy 96, there is Dr. Pearson (who delivered my 2nd, has been given awards for her excellence, & is the clinic director) and Dr. Wagner. Both women are so nice.

At the Roselawn clinic, I recommend Dr. Anderson who I have seen for various other reasons because it's a little closer to my home; right off 35E & Roselawn Ave. Also Roselawn has a great midwife named Anne Johnson.

Rice Street Clinic is in St. Paul, but Dr. Hammes is the best, so I had to stick her in there too. Email me if you have any other questions about these ladies. They are all spectacular and you'd be lucky to get any of them.

I go to Partners OB/GYN on Beam Ave in Maplewood. Dr. Votel there is so great. She was my OB for my second baby. I had a VBAC and Dr. Kohls from there ended up doing my delivery and she was very good too. They are only women doctors which I really like and it is located right next to St. Johns so they do all their deliveries there. Good luck.

I've been going to "Generations" for a few years now. They have an OB GYN (Dr. L. France) and a few midwives (Mary & Beth). They deliver at both St Johns & St Joes. They are located at 1030 Cty Rd 3 W in Shoreview. Ph ###-###-####. Their nurse is Joni. They are very relaxed, friendly & helpful. I delivered my 2nd son at St John's with them and was very happy with their attention.

I recommend doctor Kelly (I believe her first name is Amy). It's been a while since I've seen her but she was amazing. I guess I'm pretty picky and I changed doctors (again, 4th changed) with my 4th child and I am so glad I did! She is at Metropolitan OB & GYN. The Maplewood office number is ###-###-####. This office is at the Maplewood Prof. Bldg. She's goes to St. Johns Hospital, Woodwinds, United and St. Josephs. I had just sent my 16 y.o. (daughter obviously) to see her for a check up and she really liked her! She said she made her feel really comfortable and thinks she might want to be an OB & GYN like her when she grows up!?! Note; my youngest is 2. Good Luck!

Parkview OB-GYN has an office in Maplewood (they also have an office downtown St. Paul).
Right off the bat i want to say the part i DON'T like about the clinic is the office and their scheduling proceedures....
THAT BEING SAID; the doctors/clinic is TOP NOTCH!!!! Very friendly and very helpful. I see Dr. Gordon Ditmanson; I have been a patient of his for approximately 20 years. Unfortunately for you he only sees patients at the downtown clinic.
You could sure call and see if any of the doctors are taking new patients. The Maplewood clinic is located at 1560 Beam / phone # ###-###-####. GOOD LUCK
