After talking to one of my friends, I decided to host a massage party. I have a massage therapist coming to give people a massage. But i don't know what to do with everyone while someone is getting a massage. I was wondering if anyone would have a great idea. I was going to have relaxing music, some snacks and some drinks. I want to do something that is relaxing. So any ideas would be great.

I am a nail Tech and I do spa parties. we come in along with the massage therapist and do Manicures and pedicures.
It seems to give your guest something relaxing to do while waiting for there massage. If you would like more info.

Hi B.,

When I host spa parties, I have all the guests soaking their feet in a foot spa filled with soothing bath salts, followed by a ginger sea salt body rub or peppermint foot scrub. That way they are being pampered for a good 15 minutes. If they can't last a whole 15 minutes, they can give each other hand treatments too once they are finished soaking their feet. Keeps your guest occupied and everyone is happy!

Good luck!
;-) H.

Hey B.,

I went to a party like this last year. While we were waiting we could also get our nails done by a manicurist. The woman who hosted the party had two nail technicians and 2 massage therapists; so there were 4 people being taken care of at once. Everyone else quietly talked, ate snacks, or just chilled on the couch.

Have fun!!

Have a local licensed beautician (or a few) come to your house to offer manicures / pedicures / eyebrow waxing / bang cuts etc... at a discounted rate for your guests. This will offer your guests other options and also put some extra CA$H in someone else's pockets. OR just do Margarita's and a chick flick...

I think your party is such a lovely idea. As an exhausted mom of 15 month old busy boy and pregnant with our 2nd, I think your idea of snacks, drinks, and music sounds like a dream. I don't think you really need to add anything else. I imagine you all will enjoy the adult time and have some nice conversations. It might just be a great mom evening without adding anything else to it. If you wanted to, you could always just do a theme like a wine tasting and cheese or a mexican theme with chips, salsa, some sort of easy mexican food and margaritas.

Have a great gathering!!

I had one that was a great success! Candles burned and soft music played in the background, red & white wine with food like sushi did the trick. As the host you mingle threw out the night and most of the girls know each other or somebody so the time was good to catch up & gossip.

Have fun & let me know how it turns out!

Hi B.,

You could turn it into a spa party. Have people bring things for manicures/pedicures like nail polish/remover etc, facials with maybe a few different masks, fake tatoos, just an idea!
