Hi All,

My dd (college-aged) has asked for a home gel nail kit. She's asked for SensatioNail, but I just received a coupon for the Gel Haute starter set which will be less expensive. Has anyone out there used either or both of these? What is you opinion -- do you like them or not? If you've used both, did you prefer one or the other?

Thanks!

What can I do next?

I know they make for a prettier manicure but unfortunately the gel used for nails in salons and in at-home kits are highly toxic and carcinogenic.

I have one but I am not sure what the name is. I bought it at Sally Beauty Supplies. It works great! I would think any of them will be fine.

Since no one else answered I will tell you all I know which isn't much😀.
My SIL bought a kit at walmart for $25. She thought it was great. Wish I had more info...
Did you check the reviews for each product online.

I can tell you that they ruin nails, and they're not as easy as they appear when you have your nails done for you by the professionals. It won't look nearly as nice or natural. If you don't mind spending money later to have her go to a nail salon to get the junk off to "rescue" her nails, then go for it. Or you can offer to have a girls mini spa day and get your nails done together at a local nail salon that has a good reputation.
