OB GYN Recommendation

I see Dr Hamel at the the Fridley OBGYN. He's great!

Dr Wenda at fridley ob is the greatest!! He helped me out so much during my high risk pregnancy - I was carrying identical twins and my oldest child has down syndrome. He was always calm, answered all of my questions - even the super silly ones, and was just the perfect doctor to help me out. I saw all the doctors there, but dr wenda is still my fav.

I just had my 2nd baby in Aug of 2007. This time I saw Dr Mahan at Comprehensive healthcare for Women in Woodbury (she delivers at St John's) I LOVED St Johns for delivery and their rooms are bigger and nicer then Unity's. In my opinion...
My daughter is 9 now but when I had her I was just seeing a family dr and I had MAJOR complications and she was 6 weeks early one of Dr Mahans partners Sam Arnold saved my life and I have been seeing him up until I got pregnant this time and he is also wonderful. (I simply wanted a women for the pregnancy stuff was why I switched to her) This time around was a lot higher risk pregnancy and she caught EVERYTHING right away and took the nessasary steps to keeping me and my baby healthy and I even carried this one to full term!!! I had my baby at Unity almost 4 months ago and my doctor was Dr. Cephas Agbeh who works with the Columbia Park Medical Group. I loved him! Super nice, calm, down-to-earth, wonderful doctor. Good luck!

I have seen several of the doctors at Fridley OB/GYN that deliever at Unity. My favorite is Dr. Keith Wenda. He is very patient and always on time.

Dr. Hamel or Dr. Lawson at Unity Hospital. I have not used either of these personally but have many co workers that do and love them. They are personable and good at what they do. Both are Fridley Allina medical clinic right next to the hospital.

After a miscarriage I saw Dr. Thomas Grande of Metro ob/gyn. They have an office next to St.John's Hospital. He had a wonderful bedside manner and took the time to ask how I was doing and my husband as well.

I have used Dr. Jeffrey Raines for all 4 of my pregnancies and he is great! He always makes me feel very comfortable, is honest with his answers to my quetions, but doesn't make me feel pressured to choose what he is saying. He is at several of the Columbia Park Medical Group Clinics (Brooklyn Park, Fridley, Andover I think.) Their website is cpmg.org Good luck!

Absolutely! I love my OB. I first met him when I had a miscarriage and his bedside manner was so good I actually switched over to him (he too was recommended to me when I moved to MN). Anyway, I've had him through the birth of my 2nd child, and think he's pretty great.

I work at unity and would always recommend dr. Lex lawson at fridley obgyn, they are in the professional building attached to unity. Christine (nurse practitioner) or dr. Wenda is who i would see if lawson is not available. I have referred people to dr. Lawson before and have always heard good things back from them.
