Need New Ob-not Liking the Office I Go To.
Hi everyone! I was hoping that I could get some advise on where to go?! I go to the Allina clinic in Maplewood and I don't care to go there anymore. The staff has been VERY rude to me and I'm just tired of it. (to make a long story short, just because I'm on baby number 4, i guess it means I don't get much care?) any thoughts on where to go?

J.,
I went to Partners OB right next to Maplewood Mall for my second child. They were very conscientious. I would suggest Dr. Garalski, although all the doctors are women and very professional. Good luck!

Are you set on an OB? I see the midwives at Generations Women's Clinic in Shoreview and the office and staff are fantastic. There is also an OB named Dr. Laura France, but I have not seen her, but I am guessing she would be good since the clinic itself is so great. I'm pregnant with #3 and have had great care. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and I am pretty sure they take just about every kind of health insurance. The midwives deliver at St. Johns and St. Joe's... and may deliver at Woodwinds, I'm not sure...
At any rate, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see the nurse (there are two, they are both great) and usually not more than a few minutes to see the midwife. They do all your labs on site, and have a Ultrasound Tech on site too, who is great (her name is Kim, and she is SO nice!).

I honestly could not recommend them more (I saw an OB in a big office the first time, and this is SO MUCH BETTER!).

I'm not familiar with your area, but look for a "womens" clinic. I was using Allina near Springbrook, but was having some isses and felt like they were just "herding" me in and out and not listening (or caring about my concerns). I switched to Allina Medical Women's clinic in Coon Rapids and am so much happier.

I've had good luck with Aspin in Maplewood. I've seen both Tori Washington (midwife) and Andrea Brockberg (Nurse Practioner). If you go here only the OBs will deliver your baby and you get the one on call the day you deliver. I've met all 3 OBs and they all seemed nice.

I had my baby in Stillwater and I would not going anywhere else! I had a great OB (and I have seen all of them there and love them all) They all have a great nurse staff and the actual labor staff was amazing. It is more of a hometown feel and they have an amazing womens center.
