I go to Dr. Susan Warner, Partners in Womencare at Evanston Hospital (which is at Ridge and Central - very close to Wilmette). I don't know if she is accepting new patients, but her partner, Dr. Pellar, is also great. I have been going there since I was 18 years old (I'm now 34) and I live in the city, but still go out of my way to go there because she's awesome.

Hi M.,

I would second Katie's recomendation for Dr. Traci Kurtzer.
She's very soothing, pleasant, and professional. She's right accross the street from the Evanston library.

I really like--and have recommended to several others--Dr. Traci Kurtzer. Her office is in downtown Evanston, and she admits to Evanston and Highland Park hospitals, I believe. She has her own practice, so she's always the doctor you see, and she's very real and relaxed and knowledgeable. Her number is ###-###-####. If we hadn't moved away from the area, I'd definitely be with her for my second pregnancy.

Laura Pearlman in Skokie is outstanding. Great care and she was terrific when I delivered our baby. Three other doctors in practice are also great. She goes through Evanston Hospital. ###-###-####.

I LOVE Dr. Stephanie Shisler of Ob/Gyn of Evanston. She's right across the street from the hospital in the COS Building. Not Wilmette but darn close.

She's got 4 kids so knows a few things about being pregnant and having babies!

Dr. Lamarr Tyler in Highland Park, comes highly recommended in the Northshore, he also has other people in his practice, if you prefer a female. You see him for all your appts. He is also in Vernon Hills and Deerfield.

I go to Comprehensive Health Care for Women at Rush North Shore in Skokie.
My OB/GYN is Dr. Ashby, but I saw all 3 Dr.'s last year when I was pregnant and loved all three of them.
I live in the city, but I think they're worth the drive - even with construction on the Edens. :-)
Dr. David Shaw
Dr. Catherine Dillon
Dr. Susan Ashby
Good luck!
