Hi there,
I moved from California to Dallas 6 years ago having already had 3 kids. The first delivery was c section, the later were what they call v-bac.(Vaginal birth after c section delivery)Finding myself preg with #4, I was also finding it hard to find an obgyn that would agree to deliver me vaginally. They all, even ,womens presby, well known facilities, said "once a c-section, always a c-section." I almost gave up when I ran across this lovely man, Dr Usuga. He is in Mesquite off of 635 and 30.
By the way, if this is your first delivery, c-section is not the way you want to deliver, it is an emergency exit only.
Dr. Usuga explained to me that there was only one malpractice insurance company in Texas, and the premiums were outrageous, leaving many obgyn to deliver c section because there are less complications for them, and less a chance to get sued. He agreed to let me deliver my next 2 vaginally.
This doctor is also on the cutting edge of cryoablation, and if you know an older female relative that "leaks", or maybe you after you get done pushing, he can fix that too. I have had both proceedures.
I you have ever seen dr 90210, he sounds and acts like him. He makes you feel important, informed, and confident that he will make everything go smoothly for you and your baby.
Good luck,
C.
