Looking for VBAC Friendly Presby OB-GYN

Does anyone know of a OB-GYN that delivers at Presby Dallas that is open to VBAC?
I recently moved to the area, and am not pregnant, but I'd like to have the VBAC option if I ever get pregnant again.

My Doc is in the Margot Perot Building of Presby Dallas Office 212. Its Whiterock OBGYN and Dr. Smith is my doc, also in with Dr. Freeman and Periguini. They are an all womans group. I love the OB nurse and I have seen them for 5 years now. Compared to the other docs my friends go to I love this group and the way they handle pregnancy. I know VBAC is available. Good luck.

I had a vbac with Dr. Rebecca Weprin. No doc is crazy about vbac because of the risks, but I was a good candidate & she respected my wishes. I would highly recommend her as a doctor. She is at Presby Dallas.

Walter Evans was my doctor at Presby and Dr. Lein I believe is the name of the dr. that assisted Dr. Evans and he was great. Try one of them!

I delivered both of my children at Presby-Dallas. My doctor is Ann Woodbridge - Health Central Women's Care - 8160 Walnut Hill, Suite 224, Dallas, TX 75231 - ###-###-####.

I'm almost positive VBAC is an option. You'll love her!

Good Day A., I am happy to see that you have received some positive responses. When I became pregnant with my first and only child, now 2.5 year old, I searched hi and low for a doctor who would assist me with a VBAC delivery. My then OB-GYN, Dr. Riegel practices at Presby and after an unsuccessful search throughout Dallas (with the help of an awesome midwife) I returned to him to have a c-section. BELIEVE ME, I tried VERY HARD to avoid the surgery but it seemed that OB's had become very reluctant to do VBAC's because of the governing powers of the OB-GYN licensing board had no longer supported them, and they were more concerned about lawsuits. My situation is somewhat different than yours in that I had a previous surgery where the incision to my uterus to remove a tumor (in 1997, six years prior to my pregnancy mind you) was made on the back-side, which they seemed to believe would put me in the risk category of a woman who would have had a previous c-section with a horizontal incision (which is not as common) which would then have a higher chance of rupture. I was 6.5 months pregnant and declined by four or five doctors when I decided to accept that a c-section is what I would have. I pray you find what you are looking for and I would like very much to stay in touch to see how it works out for you. I would love the blessing of having another child and a still pray for the opportunity to experience labor naturally. God Bless you and your family. Peace, K.
