Hi ladies. I am wanting to get my wedding band, engagement ring, etc. sautered together. I've left them this way for almost 7 years but am tired of having 3 different rings slide around. Does anyone know of a jeweler/jewelry store who you would recommend? And, do any of you know how much something like this costs? Also, I live in Allen and would like someone nearby. Thanks!
I used Zales for my rings. They did a really good job for $75-100.
go to jared in plano (outside collin creek) - they will do a good job and your rings will not leave the store - if you can go in the morning (first thing) they may even be able to do it while you wait - my only concern would be that after 7 years your rings may need some other work on them also - the jewelers there take great pride in what they do - you would be charged for two solderings if you have 3 rings you are putting together - you will love having them together though - they may fit a little more snuggly though once they are together - i used to work there (and spent most of my time in the repair department) - they should be able to take care of you there :)
my guess is you will be spending around $50 or so but they will guarantee the work for 6 months i believe - i haven't worked there since october so i'm not 100% sure on price since that could have changed - good luck!
my other recommendation would be to take them back to where you got them and let them do it - sometimes there are warranties and service plans that will cover certain repairs :)
I have used Allen Jewelers. ###-###-#### Very nice owners and very trustworthy. They have been in Allen for several years. I had my rings sized recently and I would highly recommend them.
You might want to try Bailey Banks and Biddle..
