Need Location in McKinney Area for Renewing Vows

I'm looking for ideas for an outdoor location (with shade) for my hubby and I to renew our vows. Needs to accomodate about 20-25 people in early June for just about an hour. I'd like somewhere that would be good for photos. Any ideas would be appreciated.

What can I do next?

My hubby and I got married at Stonebridge Country Club and had the wedding outside overlooking the lake. It was beautiful.

Hi L.,

You might try Chestnut Square. We have catered several weddings and wedding cakes to the Bevel House. The couples are married at the old Chapel, very beautiful. When the flowers are in blooms, the court yard is a wonderful place to take pictures. You can call Laurie.

Also, there is a sweet place in Melissa called the Birds Nest ###-###-####, perfect for your group. The kids would love the outside to run around. Monica would be your contact.

If you have any questions, please call me, ###-###-####.

You simply can't beat the Dallas Arboretum. There are quite a few gardens to choose from including a gazebo with a view of White Rock Lake and the Sunken Gardens which offers shade. If I ever renewed my vows, the Arboretum would be the first call I would make. Best wishes!

Hi L., Try Heritage Ranch in Fairview. www.heritageranchhoa.com. There is a huge Oak tree that backs to the golf course and the photo ops are wonderful.

You could also try the little park with the gazebo next to Heard Craig house. You could then all walk to the square (1 block away) for a reception at one of the restaurants. Congratulations!

Hi L.,
My husband is a photographer and he does lots of weddings at the Bingham House in downtown McKinney. Ask for Karen. They do a great job.
Congrats on renewing your vows...how exciting! :)
