My Heating Unit Is Out, Need Info

I have used Hobica for years. I am not related to, or know anyone personally there. But, they have always done a great job for me. Never trying to sell me things I didn't need, and never making me feel silly for something I did or didn't do that I should have.

Have you tried replacing the air filters? Our heating went out because of that and we had to pay $100 to just have the guy come out and replace the filters! Very expensive and a waste of money!

Sorry to be so late in responding, I missed Monday's edition until now. Blake Peavler, of Peavler AC & Htg is not only my favorite, but we also use him at work. We are roofers and general contractors, and see a/c problems when we are on the roof. He fixes them for a reasonable price, and, in my case, he will even come on weekends - because I have a 96-yr-old living at my house. His number in ###-###-####. Good luck!

I would highly recommend Alpha Bell. They just replaced my entire AC unit. There were quite a few issues with our unit and they didn't have any problem working with us. Plus, they were over a grand less expensive for the same work than the other companies that we contacted. Very honest, straight forward company.

Have you looked on KUDZU.com or TOFIXIT.com? I don't know of who to refere to too, but I do know that you should check out any company that you might want to use with the Better Business Bureau at BBB.org.

Please do not try to heat your home with the oven or a BBQ, you could be risking you and your sons life.

Can't tell where you are located from your request, but if you are in the Phoenix, AZ valley area, we have a friend that has his own business. The business is Agape Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration. The owner is Gary Stueland. He is small, but he also does a lot of the work himself. When another man retired he even gave Gary his business and told his customers to go to Gary. He cares about people and might work with you on payments too. I'm not sure how he works them. Hi in the phoenix area we always use Action Air. They are a great company own by two brothers who have families of there own. They always come out right away and have never charged me for emergency service fees. They are very reliable and will explain everything in plain English so that you can understand what is going on.

We have always used a company called Wolff Mechanical. They have always been honest and very reasonable.

My son in law has his own Air Conditioning and Heating business. It's Dawn til Dusk ###-###-####. He is very fair! Ken won't do extras that doesn't need to be done just to spike the bill. A very fair man; that were very proud of. Thanks, N. P.
