In case you haven't been able to get the stain out yet, I thought I would tell you that before we moved back to Fl, from VA, we had to clean the carpets in our home. We had a going away party at our house before we moved, and quite a few people we too intoxicated to go home (so I got to be the babysitter!) I didn't realize it at the time but after we moved our furniture out of the apartment, there were stains on the carpet from alcohol, wine and food...I was annoyed, but I knew that I needed to get it up in order to get my deposit back.

I used Resolve, it was fabulous!!! It got everything out of the carpert and the carpet looked cleaner then when we moved in! Try it...it might just work!

I know that this may sound a little crazy but, try shaving cream. I'm not sure why but this usually does the job!

Oxy-Clean, you can buy it in a laundry spot removal spray bottle, I use it all the time to get spots out of my carpet.

I always try club soda and/or regular table salt on a wet rag first. Then Resolve carpet cleaner. I've had really good results. Although I find that the more commercial products I've used instead of my old standbys nothing works at all, not even the club soda and salt and water. Good luck, i hope something works.

I always use rubbing alcohol on everything. It gets permanent marker out and it won't take color out of beige carpet. Also there's a little cheapy cleaner called Fabuloso, you can buy at Wal-Mart most of the time. It is in a bottle (not the kitchen spray), and I use the purple one cuz it smells good LOL..(Dilute it a little in a seperate spray bottle)I use it on my carpets and it takes out most stains (especially for street grease so it might just do the trick) Good luck
