Looking for Great Dance Studio

My daughter is four and she loves dancing. For her third birthday her grandparents paid for her to attend dance classes for a several month session. She absoultely loved it!! However, we were very dissatisfied with the studio and the instructor. She didn't spend much time with each child and my daughter is very shy and she singled her out at the end of the session recital in front of everyone because she had her finger in her mouth. I just didn't think she handled working with little ones very well especially considering for most of them it was the first time they had done anything like that. Anyways she is a year older now and asks me all the time when she can go back to dance class so I would really like to find a studio with lots of experience working with little ones for her to attend. Any suggestions would be helpful!

What can I do next?

My 4 year old daughter takes dance at Movement Innovations. Brina is the owner/dance teacher and she is awesome. My daughter really loves her. I believe she has a 3 year old daughter, so she has first hand experience with little ones as well. Here is her website-http://www.midancestudio.com.

My 4 yr old daughter and her friend go to Everything Goes Dance. The owner is the preschool teacher and she is very patient with the little ones and makes it fun to be there.

We go to Range of Motion (ROM) dance studio at Hefner and Rockwell- by Dental Depot. We LOVE it. Abi has been going two years now. I had a horrible abllet experience when I was little, so that "mean teacher" situation was the first thing I looked for. Most of the teacers at ROM we once students there, so they all have investment. It is a performance and techinical school, so there is not the pressure of competition. Let me know if you decide to try it out. They let kids do 1 class free I believe.

Hi my 2 girls 4 and 6 go to academy of dance arts on mustang and reno. They are really great! We have been going there for 3 yrs now. My 6 yr old is very shy and quite and easy to be looked over and it has never happend there she loves going and looks forward to it. I think if you call up there you can go to your first class for free to try it out and see if you like it. If you have any question I would be glad to try and help. Wishing you luck S.
