Looking for an Overnight Trip for Two Teenage Boys?

Hello - My mom and Aunt take their two teenage grandsons (age 14 & 16) on an overnight trip each summer. They are having a hard time finding anything to take them to this year. They have been doing this for several years. They usually go see something or go to a raceway park(ie: bumper boats, miniature golf, bumper cars) and then spend a night in a hotel that usually has an awesome pool with water slides, etc... I am looking for ideas of places of interest within a couple hours drive of St. Paul, MN. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I was going to suggest Wisconsin Dells as well, but I think you need a couple of days for that. A friend of mine took his 15 year old son to the house on the rock (I think it's about 3 hours from St Paul) and said it was phenominal! The house is cool and all, but what is the best part is the museum they have there. He said he could not believe the stuff that was in there. His son really enjoyed it too.

Have they done Brainerd? There's the Nisswa Family Fun Center...if you Google it, you'll get info. Plus there are quite a few hotels with water parks in them.... The Family Fun center has a rollerblade track and an indoor ice rink, plus a water park, I think.

Duluth is a great weekend destination (and only about 2 1/2 hours north of St. Paul). Babyzone.com has it listed under their "weekend trips" section (link below) and lists all of the fun things in town and where to stay:

The Best Western has an indoor water park, there's a zoo and there are many other fun activities/attractions.

The water park at the Mall of America is supposed to be the biggest water park in the states. It would be a very short drive. :)
