I am looking for a relatively cheap treadmill. I want to exercise "gently" - haven't done any for more years than I would like to say, and feel that it is now time! I don't need to lose weight, but would like to tone my legs and just feel better all over. Any advice would be appreciated.

And once you're 10 blocks away or so, you'll HAVE to walk back. Talk about motivation to keep going! If you don't like your neighborhood, drive to one that you do like.

I'm actually going to be posting my treadmill on Craigslist this weekend. It's a great treadmill, just doesn't get any use. It's a Proform 795SL, and am selling for $500. It is a space saver model, so you can fold up the track when not in use to save space. It also has a magazine holder and heart rate monitor. Or I would contintually check craigslist for one that fits you - there's always good deals on there.

Garage sales!!! I found a perfectly good treadmill for $20. I only use it in the wiinter months when it is freezing outside, otherwise I prefer to walk/run outdoors.
Hi B.. Go to Craigslist.com there are many used treadmills that people are selling for cheap. I am actually one of them :) I really recommend craigslist, you can find people in your area that are selling them in great condition at a fraction for the price.
