Hi L.! I go to a wonderful Church that meets at Lehman College at 10: am on Sundays. The people are great. The message is powerful. And the focus is on God. I know Dawn as well she is wonderful and will take great care of you. I hope you can make it out.

Hi, L.,

I hae lived in the bronx for the last five years and they have two churches on the corner where I use to work, maybe you want to visit them before you decide. The address is 169th street, prospect and Jennings. Sorry, I cannot give you the name of them. One is on the corner of Jennings and the other one is little further in the midle of the block. I am the mother of a 6 year old and 7 year girls and we attend a megachurch in mid manhattan, They have what is called baby dedications .

Hi I attend a great church called the NYC Church of Christ that meet in different parts of the city. (I actually know Dawn, she is a wonderful person). I attend the Harlem section and the Bronx section meets near you in Lehman College, in the Theater, on Sundays at 10am to 12noon. I have attended their service also. What I love is their children's classes. They sing songs your son will probably be in the infants class, where he will enjoy songs and an interactive cradle role. E-mail me if you have any questions: ____@____.com

Hi L.!

I attend the NYC Church of Christ. The church has a location in various parts of the world and in NYC, but my husband, daughter and I attend the one in the Bronx. We meet at Lehman College on Sundays at 10am. It is a non denominational christian church that focuses on the Bible, great fellowship, and living the truth. There is a great children's ministry that begins at 6 mo. of age. Our daughter who will be turning 5 next month has been apart of the children's ministry since she was 6 mo. and she loves it! She has grown up with those children and goes on playdates and other fun things. Please feel free to call me on my cell for more information ###-###-####. Be well and God bless you!

Hi L.,
I am not in your area, I am in Manhattan, but I was a little confused and others might be, too. What do you mean by a 'Christian' church? It is my understanding that all Churches are by definition Christian. Baptism is a Christian rite, which is practiced by all denominations.
Do you mean Baptist? Methodist? Catholic? ( I myself am Eastern Orthodox) Or maybe it doesn't matter?
It might help those in your area if you were more specific.
Good luck, and may God bless you with the right decision.
