I'm a working-at-home- mom and I was looking for a exercise routine that didn't require me to go to a gym or pay a monthly fee for classes so when a friend of mine let me borrow her Les Mills Combat dvd's it nearly answered my prayers! It's perfect because I can wake up in the morning, not have to worry about looking presentable in public and just throw the workout DVD on before my kids have to be up for school. And strangely enough, it gives me such a boost of energy to start the day and I feel like I'm so much less stressed when I get a good workout in. Does anyone else have a workout routine or program that's good for Stay-at-home-moms or work-at-home-moms?? Here's the link if anyone wants to check out the workout --I just asked my husband to get it for me for xmas :) http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/les-mil...

What can I do next?

Hi,
I love working out at home. My hubby has a membership ($10/month) but I prefer to remain at home. I do Zumba2 on the Wii and I also stream HuluPlus thru the Wii which allows me an awesome Cardio Kick workout and Yoga. I have Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones circuit training, Biggest Looser, and Hip Hop Abs all on DVDs. Oh, and I use www.myfitnesspal.com to track calories burned and eaten daily. Feel free to send me a friends request if you join the MFP site (User name ChelleSpoon)!!! There's a ton of support on the site and it's free. There's a mobile app as well.

If you have on demand cable you can get a number of exercise routines right there on demand. For me it's channel 495.

Yep, if you have a smart TV and streaming Netflix or demand tv, you can simply try out the many exercise "videos" that are on, via your tv.
Easy.
And you won't have to buy... DVD's.

Sometimes I just put on a pre-made tape of my 6 favorite dance tunes and dance up a sweat. Then, legs lifts. After that a few crunches...and end w/ stretching!

I'll have to check that one out that you mentioned. I have Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, Jillian's Ripped in 30, Bob Harper's Yoga and a couple Rodney Yee Yoga...I personally love to work out this way, just for the reasons you mentioned.
Also, they were all around $10 a piece, which is a real bargain since I've used them alot. I walk outside when it's nice also, but otherwise stick to the DVD's 4-5 times a week.
