Know Where to Buy Boys' Size 5T SLIM Jeans/pants for a Small Waisted Child??

I have the exact same problem with both of my boys.My girl is the opposite.Anyway anymore slim and adjustable waist are easier to find.My oldest is ten and it used it be impossible.He needs a size nine in the length and about a six in the waist.The only place I can find a nine slim is Macy's.So that's one place to try.Another place I have always been able to find slims is Toy's R,Us thier brand.Another thing I have been buying is the Levi's adjustable waist also.I get those at Target and Walmart.Old Navy also carries slim.Also it would be easier to find a five than a 5T they don't make many of those and there usually isn't a difference.You might also try Sears I think I have found some there over the years.They are actually easier to find in the size 5 then in the toddler sizes.My other boy is two and I have alot harder time finding jeans for him.He needs a 12 month waist.So I have to buy 18 months which are still too big so they have to be adjustable waist.Hope this helps,God Bless!

The jeans cost more but you can find slims anywhere. You may even get lucky and find slims at places like Recycle Kid, Once Upon a Child, etc. Try even the Salvation Army and Goodwill. I found they carry slim clothes a lot.

J C Penny's Arizona Jeans have a button on the inside to adjust the waist size. Try that.

At Macy's they have pants that you can cinch the waist.

My sons are the same way, I buy most of their jeans at JC Penny. You might also try Old Navy they carry slims as well.

My son is the same way.
He is going to be 7 in December and weighs 40 pounds.
I bought him the Faded Glory brand jeans from Wal-mart. I bought him size 5 R (regular) they fit him great and have the adjustable waist also.

I have a six year old that has the same problem. I have had really good luck with Old Navy, OshKosh, and Gap Kids. These brands all have the ajustable waistband in side. There is an OshKosh outlet out in the Ledgends shopping center out near Nebraska Furniture Mart.I have found them to be the best bargain. I think I paid 2 pair for $25.00 the last time I was out there about a month ago. I hope this helps.

I'm in the same boat. I have a 4yr. old son that could probably fit into a 2t if it wasn't for the length. I found Levis's slim jeans that fit the best and you can find them at Macy's, Kohl's and Toy's R Us. I also found jeans with the wiastband that has buttons you can tighten at Old Navy.

my daughter is almost 5 and weighs around 34 pounds. We get 5 slims from JCPenney. IF they have clothes in slims for girls, surely they'd have slims for boys right?

My daughter is the same way...tiny waist and no butt! We have had the best luck at Target. They sell jeans under their own brand, cant remember the name, that has the adjustable waist. They are very inexpensive too! They hold up very well through the laundry. I am assumming that the same would be in the boys dept too.

Have you tried thefort.com they have Wrangler jeans that are for a 5slim. We buy my nephew his jeans from there. Or if you can find another place in KC (like Tractor Supply or a place like that who carries Wranglers). Good luck!

My son is long and skinny, so we always need a bigger size for length too. Osh Kosh at Legends doesn't have 5T, but they do have 5 slim with the adjustable waist. We've been really happy with them and they're 2 for $25.

ok, everyone has a place!! we get them at childrens place and the one at the great mall is the outlet thy are adjustable waist and they are 2 pair for 20.00 at the outlet store.
