And they seem to be hereditary. You either get them or you don't (no matter how much shea butter, coconut oil, etc. you apply to avoid them).

They make all kinds of creams that claim to get rid of them, I have never used any of them so I don't know.
I had used a herbal cream while I was pregnant to keep the skin moisturized and I have no stretch marks. My mom still has some and my sister so I don’t think it is hereditary.

You can't get rid of them unless you have the skin surgically removed -such as with a tummy tuck. There are some creams like Strivectin that claim to make them fade -and they usually cost a fortune -but I've never known anyone who actually had success with that. Over time they will fade a little bit naturally but once you have them -they're there!

Unfortunately, you can't. They can or will fade with time. There is no way to rid of them. Sorry.

I also was concerned about my stretch marks after having my son. But yes unfortunately there really is no way to get rid of them completely. I have used Bio Oil and it seemed to help some you can find it at Wal Mart. There are a lot of creams out there that say they get rid of them but most don't work so don't waste your money. Tanning also helps to fade them some if you tan. Good luck.

The brown should fade a bit, but the marks will always be there. Laser treatments can help them fade a little, but the treatment has to be done fairly quickly.
