There's this really awesome stuff called Zep that you can get at Home Depot that will get rid of it within minutes. It's industrial strength and does contain bleach. Just spray it on, let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes, then use a scrub brush and water to rinse clean. I was amazed at how well it worked and how easy it was to use. It took out stains that I wasn't able to get out by using several other products.

It is more and likely mildew. Also dont be scared while mold is not a wonderful thing to have in your home not all types of mold are dangerous. Matter of fact, there are tons of mold spores in the air everyware you go.The best thing to do is use bleach and let it sit and dry then go behind with Tylex for mold and mildew and clean. If it is in a area where you can calk, I would asap. Once you clean it and recalk (if nessary) it will help so much if you use a daily shower cleaner, the scrubbing bubbles one or just any band of one will work you just have to spray it every time after you shower. Wash your shower curtian as well, both of them.

More than likely it's not black mold or you'd also be complaining of strange illnesses amongst your family.

As others have said...bleach & a toothbrush.
Wear goggles & a mouth/nose mask & start spraying. Use very hot water to then wash the bleach off the walls. If you have grainy grout - clean w/ bleach very good & let dry a day then use a seal on it. Afterwards you could just simply wipe the mold away with a washcloth if there is a sealant on the grout.

I tried bleach and the other suggestions before, didn't work for me. I had a grout person look at it and he said the reason it comes back is b/c cleaners get the surface and mold actually has "roots"; meaning it's like a weed chopping off the top the rest will come back again later if you don't get it all. If it doesn't go away you may have to regrout.

Be careful if you use bleach full strength, it will eventually eat through the caulking between the tiles in your shower, I know from experience. I've been using Tilex Mold and Mildew Remover and it works great.

Bleach...I just spray it on full force & let it sit. I have to do it about once a week, & then I usually spray it twice.

tilex mold & mildew remover or good old bleach (which is the main ingredient in tilex) works great. just spray it on, wait a few minutes, wipe or scrub down & rinse.

Get a spray bottle and fill it with bleach. After you spray it on (spray it liberally, and open a window if you have one in there), let it sit for at least a half hour. Scrub (you shouldn't have to scrub too much) and rinse. The bleach kills the mold.

Get a spray bottle and fill it with bleach. Plain clorox should work just fine! Spray the areas that have any mold on them and it will take care of it. Make sure you close the door to the bathroom it's in because the fumes are a little much. Make sure to rinse it when you're done also.

We use Tylex mold and mildew. It's awesome. My husband is addicted to it. As soon as he sees the slightest hint of gray/black growing on the cault, he sprays it. It works great with soap scum on glass doors, too! Be sure to get the right kind. In the past I bout the Tylex daily shower spray, but it didn't work. Good luck!

Pour pure bleach in a spray bottle and then spray down your shower. Let it set over night and the mold is gone.
