Ladies, help....I need a new OB/GYN that is on staff at either Palos Community or St James Olympia Fields hospitals. I just found out I am PG with #2 and my previous OB (whom I love dearly) is not on our insurance (United Health Care). Whomever it is will have to be truly awesome to live up to my other experience. I went through my first pregnancy with Dr. Felicia Lane who works through either St. James OF or St. James CH. She is with WellGroup Healthpartners and I absolutely loved her. I was on bed rest for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy so I had to see her 2-3 times a week and I actually really missed her after I had my son because I had gotten so attached to her. She's great!

I started going to Glenwood Medical Corp in March for my pregnancy. (I am due in October with my first child) They work with Palos Community Hospital. There are three male doctors in the practice, and I've seen Dr. Brusca and Mr. Mar. I love them both (although you may have to sit in the waiting room for a while). They are located just west of Lagrange on 159th St, and the number is ###-###-####. The nurses are always pleasant and willing to answer my questions. The doctors always take their time with me and address all my concerns, no matter how late they are running with appointments. I've been to a lot of OB/GYN's over the years and so far this is the best practice I've gone to. Good luck!

i was just referred to Dr. Leipold and Dr. Gumpel at Palos Hospital. They are a mother daughter team and I really like them. My doctor of 20 years is not practicing right now because his wife is ill. They have an office in Palos Hospital and Orland Park. The number is ###-###-#### at the Palos Office. Leipold is there Tuesdays and Thursdays. Fridays they are off.

I THOUGHT I MIGHT CHIME IN THAT DR GUMPEL WAS A GOOD DOCTOR, OLD FASHIONED AS I REMEMBER & HER DAUGHTER WAS ONLY DOING HER RESIDENCY AT THE TIME. BUT HAD TO MENTION DR MCINERNEY WHO IS LOCATED 5 MIN FROM PALOS & IS OUT OF PALOS & CHRIST THAT I KNOW OF. HE IS FANTASIC, EVERYONE I HAVE EVER REFERRED THERE HAS THANKED ME. IN CASE YOU ARE INTERESTED HIS # IS ###-###-####. HE LITTERALLY SAVED MY LIFE WITH A TUBAL PREGNANCY THAT ANOTHER GYNO BLEW ME OFF ON. ALSO HAVE HAD ABNORMAL CELLS THAT HE ABSOULTY STAYS ON TOP OFF. GOOD LUCK FINDING ONE YOU FEEL COMFY WITH!!
Dr. Felicia Lane is out of Olympia Fields. She delivered my first one before I moved to Texas. I am now back with her. She is awesome. I could not have asked for a better doctor!!! I used to have United Health care so I know she accepts it. I think her number is ###-###-####. I highly recommend her!

I have delivered both my middle daughter and my 6 week old son at ST. Francis hospital however my OB goes out of both St. Francis and Palos. In the end it is up to the patient. I'm not sure of the la grange office phone number but the blue island # is (08)###-###-####. They are with the Pronger Smith group. Dr. Yen delivered both of my last two and his is GREAT. I am not sure if you have found one yet or like the one you have found but I go to the best OB/GYN, his name is Dr. Mcinerney and he is in Palos, right on Southwest Highway, he works out of Palos hosp and Christ Hosp. He made me feel so comfortable and I was one of those women who swore I would never go to a man for a dr. He just delievered my first child and was great, I can't say enough good things about him, and his staff and nurses are so nice and helpful, I definately recommend him
