Happy Mother's Day to all of our amazing Mamapedia Mom's! Thanks for all you do! And as always, the staff here at Mamapedia want to extend an especially heartfelt thanks to all those Mom's who took the time over the past year to post on our site -sharing your questions, concerns, hopes, fears, as well as your wisdom, knowledge, and positive encouragement.
Members come to our site for so many reasons. Some seek solutions to those small everyday concerns and challenges that all parents must cope with on a daily basis, and some seek help for far more serious, profound, and even life threatening concerns. And in all cases, you as a community never fail to respond with your collective knowledge wisdom, and experience to offer your help in the form of constructive advice and support. You should be very proud of the positive differences you have made in other people's lives through this site. On their behalf, we thank you all, and most especially we thank and acknowledge those members of our community that take the time and make the effort to post responses here almost every day. And to all of our members, you are what makes our community so great -we really couldn't do it without you!
So once again, Happy Mother's Day to all our Moms! Thanks for all you do! We really hope you're having the great day you deserve!

Thanks M.. We usually relax around the house most of the day. Hubby always makes breakfast, we go for a hike and out to lunch somewhere. Nothing fancy.....just so I don't have to cook. And I love it!!!

I'm going to our traditional brunch with my daughter and her best friend ( my other daughter ) at the country club. We've done this almost 20 years now.
This is my 2nd Mother's Day without my sweetheart but I know he's with us in our hearts.
I went to an arts festival by myself (this is hard to get used to) yesterday and bought some one of a kind handmade pottery with Texas Blue bonnets. It's a good weekend!!

We are having a lovely weekend. Yesterday, we went out for a favorite tradition of mine: every election we have, we take our ballots and voters pamphlet out with us for a nice snack, discuss the candidates and measures and vote. Somehow, it helps us reconnect to that time pre-Kiddo and nurtures us as a couple. To me, that was pretty great in itself. This morning I was able to get an extra hour of sleep, a nice LEGO display of "MOM" in bricks was waiting at the table when I got up. My husband gave me a beautiful cribbage board for my collection, and who knows what we will do today? The weather is less than gorgeous, but hopefully we'll chill out, I'll get some time for lesson plans, and maybe a nice outing for dinner.. I've got a hankering for that whisky crab bisque at the brewery. :)

Thank you M.. We went to a nice upscale buffet with every food imaginable and it was delicious! My parents were there, along with my husband and one of my boys. My other boy will be home tonight from school. My brother was there as well with his new girlfriend. She is a lovely woman from Poland and it was nice to meet her. My husband is at work tonight and my son is out, so now I am enjoying a few hours to myself. We had beautiful weather too; sunny and mid seventies!

We went to a Mother's Day sale at the botanical gardens yesterday, then had a nice lunch out.
Today I get to plant my plants/bushes and do some weeding in the garden.
It's a perfect day for me!

I am at work until 5pm.
My husband asked me what I would like for dinner. When I get home a pozole should be simmering!! (hopefully the house is clean too!)
My children got me cards and a few small gifts that I will open after dinner.

Spent the weekend with my wonderful family, with my mom and my siblings and their families. My mom has had a rough go of it lately and it was so good for the soul to have us all together. Feeling very blessed. Happy Mother's Day to all!

I had breakfast in bed, went to church, hung out with family, and now I am relaxing with a good book. It was a fabulous day!!
I spent Saturday with the family at Disney Epcot. Today was more low key with getting ready for another week of work and school.
Frankly I don't post here much anymore. It seems like posts get deleted pretty arbitrarily. I had a post of mine deleted and could not get an explanation why from the moderators. It's a shame because I used to really enjoy this forum.
