Good Vets near Draper

I have had my cat longer than 2 of my children and he is very important to me. I need to find a vet that cares as much as i do...any Suggestions?

What can I do next?

I had good experiences with Lone Peak Veterinary here in Draper before my dog died. When she did pass they were very thorough in trying to find a cause and extremely sensitive to the feelings of my husband and I. I really liked them and would recommend them to anyone.

well, this vet isn't in draper, however I was actually shocked at how..."lovey dovey" this woman was to just our little guinea pigs. She owns the Riverwoods Pet Hospital down in Orem/Provo. http://www.riverwoodspethospital.com/ and let me just say we had two guinea pigs that started losing some fur and we brought them in. She talked more to the silly little guinea pigs than me for the first 5 minutes of the appointment, and they were just guinea pigs! I didn't know if she was for real or not but every subsequent visit we've done she's been like that every time. I definitely reccomend her clinic!! She will love your kitty just as much as you love him!

L.,

Orem may be a little far for you, but for whatever it is worth, we have had fantastic vet service through the Banfield hospital situated in the Orem Petsmart. There is a Petsmart (and probably a Banfield hospital) just off of 7200 South State in SLC, so there may be one near you.

Our border collie broke her elbow when she was about 6 months old. She had to have surgery to implant a temporary pin and a permanent pin. They called down a specialist (I think from the Petsmart in Murray/Draper) to do it. The surgery was done perfectly and she has full use of her leg, despite what should have been a crippling accident. The vet in Orem still knows her, and the care was loving and absolutely phenomenal. I would recommend them to anyone with a pet.

Dr Alan Cunningham, he also does animal grievence talks and books. Hard thing is,that he travels from clinics, where he fills in. Sorry, I think he was working out at Tooele, UT, don't have his home number here at work. D.

If you don't mind coming a little bit west, I have had great results at Stone Ridge. Their phone number is ###-###-#### and their address is 1381 W Stone Ridge Lane.

Good Luck

There are some good vets in the area. However, the best vet (in my humble opinion as an owner and lover of animals for all my life) is Dr. Jodi Way at Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital. The number is ###-###-####. Her clinic is located at 12400 South and 300 East. Jodi has seen me through some heartbreaking things with my babies. You will absolutely love her.

Hi L.,
I have been to MANY vets in the valley and the best one for us is Dr. Martin Orr at Creekside Animal Hospital ###-###-####. We have used him for dogs, cats, and rats. He has done surgeries and helped us with difficult conditions. They also have a nice boarding facility. He is great! We have spent a lot of money there :)lol
They used to be called "Bird and Exotic All Pet Hospital" so you may find them in the phone book under that name. They are located at 12720 South Pony Express Road (frontage road).
Hope this helps,
B.
