I have two girls ages 4 and 6. They share all their clothes and shoes since they are the same size in everything. Is it bad for them to share their undies?

What can I do next?

I'm sure that you are talking about clean underwear, in which case there shouldn't be a problem with it. If it makes you feel any better, you can always wash them in hot as an added measure.

There were 3 of us growing up and sharing undies was crossing the line for us. That was the one thing we were guaranteed new and personal. I don't think it would be a problem unless one was to get an infection (yeast?) and put on a dirty pair of the other one on accident.

Clean undies...I see no problem. If there was a problem with it then thrift stores/clothing drives wouldn't take them and sell them. That's my thinking. If you aren't comfortable with it, buy only white for one and only colors for the other. Or solids for one and prints for the other.

I hav two boys who are 14 months apart (4 and 3 right now) they share undies mainly because they are both the same size and I can not tell who's are who's anyway LOL. Maybe when they get older (teenagers or what not) it might be an issue to them, but for now I feel like they are fine with this sharing, and agin I am not sure who's belong to what child, they all look like superhero underwear to me =}

I agree with all of the others. I think sharing is fine until they ask for their own (later) when they're big enough to want their own. But for now, they're little and since they're clean I'm sure it's fine! :D

Hi D.,
I had two sons that took the same size underwear and I couldn't tell whose was whose. As long a you wash them well I can't see any problem with it. They will probably want their own when they get bigger and may not fit the same size then:)

As long as they are washed in good hot water and clean. I can't see how it would harm them.

not bad since they are pretty young still but not a good habit to get them into since sooner or later, the 6 yr old will have to deal with a period...

I wouldn't think there'd be a problem with it. The Duggars (the ones with 18 kids) just get all the same underclothing and deem it 'girls' or 'boys.' I don't see them complaining. Unless your girls complain about it, and they might when they're older, then I wouldn't worry about it.

I think of it like this.....they share towels and washclothes as well that end up drying their p****** p****, soooo......as long as they are washed they are fine. Unless one has had a severe infection or illness, then I would just make sure I bleached them first in order to rid them of any possible bacteria or germs.

I think there is no problem. I was really close with two of my cousins growing up (they are sisters) and we had a lot of unplanned sleepovers over the years and I would always lend them some of my clean undies when this happened and vice-versa. :)

I wouldn't worry about as long as they are clean and healthy, which I'm sure they are.

I think its a personal choice. Are they sharing rooms too? I would give them their own personal underwear and let them share everything else.

Clean panties are never a problem. If they get mixed up, oh well!

Sounds like your girls are close... keep it that way.
