Hi Moms,
We are planning to buy a house...but like all families our main concern are the schools. Which are best school districts in the DFW metroplex with the Elementary, Middle, and High school at least 'recognized'. We don't mind a pre-owned house...yet a new house will be a boon.
Has anybody moved or bought a house recently and is delighted to have taken that decision?

We have Suzuki strings, Spanish Immersion and maderin Chinese Immersion. Both of our high schools are IB world trad schools.

What parts of the DFW area are you looking at? I live in Keller and the schools around here are good as well as some other areas. You can look up the school ratings online and they actually breakdown the individual schools and their ratings. PM me if you have any questions
I used to teach in the Lewisville ISD and can say that there are some great schools in this district at all levels. We live in Flower Mound and will stay here when our kids get old enough to attend school because of the schools and safety of the town.
Plano, Frisco are great districts. You can look at all the ratings online. Just google it.

I do not know which area in DFW that u are looking to buy a home.we bought a home in Plano with Frisco schools district.The school district is really great and my sons attend excemplary school.Depending on your area,budget and commute i advise u to look up for ratings of school and go ahead.It took 6 months of our search for our home.All the best in your home search and anything else just mail me.

After looking around for 2 year we recently moved to a house in Castle Hills in Lewisville. This newly developed/develpoing community is quite big - it has it's own Elelmentary school and middle school and I have heard they are/will be building a high school too.
