Face Breaking Out!

Hi moms,
I have never had a problem with blemishes, or anything like that, not even as a teenager. When I was pregnant with my daughter, my face started to break out a little. I know this is normal with the hormonal changes and stuff, but she is almost 1 year old and I am still having this problem! Can anyone give me any advice? I haven't changed any lifestyle habits that I can think of, so I think it must be hormonal, but I thought this would go away after a few months! Has anyone else had this problem? I don't want to go to a dermatologist really, but I might have to do that if this annoying problem doesn't go away soon. I mostly get break outs around my forehead area, sides of temple area, etc. I did not think this would be a permanent thing. I appreciate any thoughts or suggestions! Thanks, ladies!

What can I do next?

Sorry, I am going through this too and it sucks! Try not to touch your face and don't overwash it.

Some otc meds are okay, but some sensitive skin types (like myself) just get worse breakouts using this stuff.

If you are not breastfeeding, you can get prescription meds from your family doctor.

Mary Kay!!! I had the very same problem! Right after baby (when all that healthy vitamines and everything was gone, the prgnancy glow was gone) here came other friends I didn't like very much, and I didn't have in the past! I never really had problems with acne as a child...

I went to my best friend and asked for her help. I couldn't afford much and had tried everthing at the grocery store... She luckily had just started her Mary Kay business and helped me find just the right products for my skin type and for my special needs.

It worked in less then a month it was GONE! Within a week it was 10 times better! Since I loved the product so much I decided to become a consultant myself so I could get it at a discount! It has been an amazing journey right along with raising my now two and a half daughter. I don't even get those once a month issues anymore with my acne!

Its definately worth the try if you haven't already! If you have I'd love to know when and what you used... Let me know if you'd like to try it out! Everything is always backed with a 100% guarantee therefore its never a real risk at all to try it out!

Either way, good luck! I know exactly what you are dealing with!

All the best!
T.

Since is it so close to your hairline, maybe it could be a form of dermatitis? You should try T-gel by Neutrogena.

I've undergone periodic changes in my body (hips and other things suddenly moving back together), complexion, etc. periodically for 2 full years after my last baby. I've heard and read that it takes 2 years for your body to recover from a pregnancy, but didn't believe it. I got pregnant a little over a year after my first, so didn't experience any of this last time.
So, yes, hormones can and will be a little whacked for longer than you think.

Hi A.. I highly recommend Arbonne's Clear Advantage line too! Definitely check it out. I've used it and had several clients use it and love it. It really works and it's not as harsh on your skin as other "anti-acne" lines out there. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email me. Good luck!

Hi A.-

Yes, this happened to me too after my daugther was born.
My OBGyn said that sometimes you break out more in your
thirties than you ever will.

I am also an Arbonne Consultant and use the Arbonne Clear
Advantage line for oily skin. It clears up most acne within
2 weeks. If you want more information about the product,
let me know. Also, I love having a business from home,
so I can be here with me kids.

Thanks!

It probably is hormonal and hopefully will go back to normal eventually! I've always had breakouts, but have been able to control them much better recently. I just use Clearasil and Oil of Olay products. I change around on products, so I can't really tell you which one I like best, but the Clearasil Ultra (I think) line does really well. They say it clears you up in 3 days and in my experience this holds true! I've tried many products, expensive and inexpensive, and these work best for me! Good luck!
