I went to help a friend who has a vegan lunch service one day last week. She made the best raw pad thai! I've been thinking about it ever since. And if my husband would like it...
Do you have any good raw foods recipes?

So What Happened?

While I've been mulling over raw food dishes I could serve my family I went vegan. My daughters 5th b day is in a few days. And thats been big on my mind. My husband wants to have pizza. I've decided I have the strength to just smell it :) And I'll have a nice sprouted salad. I put all the chopped veggies out and my daughter made it for me (any way to get her more involved in veggies). I made a nice spicy dressing w/ cashew cheeze sauce thinned out w/ lemon juice, soy sauce, and water w/ a bit of hot pepper powder & cumin. That was breakfast ;)
Thank you for all your suggestions, your kind offer Lori. I'm excited to see how much more healthy I'll be feeling this year.
Thanks again everyone. A. H

try an orange and oregano salad. Use sliced oranges, fresh oregano, salt and pepper, and you can use oilve oil and red wine vinegar. Its tasty and good for you.

Pick up RAW the UNcook book by Juliano. My ex-boyfriend met him while out in CA in '99 and ate with him. He was surprised by how good it was and how much energy and health Juliano has. The book has recipes for everything including sprouting. I've tried a few of the recipes and they were delicious. Some much more time consuming than others and some of the ingredient lists can be quite long, but it's a great book with enticing pictures. And I would love to try more of the recipes, they look so good.

I'm a vegetarian and go to the unity church in Livonia. A good half of the congregation is vegetarian/vegan and they have a vegan potluck as well as a raw foods potluck once a month. I don't know anything about raw foods but I would love to learn more about it! Please share any recipes or ideas you come up with :)
