The advice below is great, also, drink lots of water, eat healthy food, get lots of sleep (sleep is best for healing skin) and try not to stress. Good foods for skin are papaya-look on computer for good skin foods. You should see a doctor if you can, everyone's skin is a little different, but gentle non allergenic soaps are best. Good luck!

I am not a big fan of Dove either. This would be bettr for you:

You can also buy it in pharmacies such as Walgreens and it is not expensive.

Dove is a gentle soap and should be fine to wash your face with...but I would still look into going to a dermatologist.

Dove isn't specifically for acne, however, since it is a mild soap it won't irritate your skin. My daughter's pediatrician told her to wash her face with Dove soap (we use the unscented one) twice a day and use a acne cream just on the acne. We use the Meijer brand that is similar to Clearasil. Neutragena also makes a good acne based face wash that I use and am happy with but it does dry out my skin if I use it twice a day. I used to use the clean and clear line and they have a lot of new products that are targeting for teens and their skin, you may try one of those. Good Luck!

Get some Proactive - it will completely clear your face. There is a moisturizer/repairing cream that comes with it. You'll be sooo happy you did.

I always suggest Melaleuca products. Dove is not as gentle as most people think....definately not for acne.
