Hello Mamas
My husband and I need to diet. Both of us fluctuate a lot. We did well at the losing weight part on Atkins many months ago, but sure enough, we lost steam with and gained it all back, plus some. It seemed like it really affected being able to think to add all the carbs in a meal, and I really struggled with it. My husband really feels like that is the only thing that has worked for him and since his health is at risk and he is pushing extremely high numbers, we really need to find something that we can both do. We support each other in this, but need something that both of us can do. What has worked for you? ANYTHING is great!
So far I still have not done anything. that is so much easier LOL. I am still looking/considering my options. Thanks for all your help!

I highly recommend Weigh Watchers, my husband and I do it and love it. It can be a little hard to grasp in the begging trying to figure out how many points each thing is, etc. But it gets much easier, it is a healthy way to eat, and it works. Good luck
I would highly reccomend Weight Watchers. I have lost 78 pounds on Weight Watchers, and I still get to eat what I want! PM me if you want more details on how the program works!
I started NutriSystem about a month ago. I have lost 12 lbs so far. I like this diet because it forces you to eat smaller portions. Also, they have a whole online community for support and making friends. It is not expensive, however you need to buy a month's worth of food at once, so it seems pricy, but the cost per meal is less than $3.00. Right now they are offering 3 weeks free. Good luck to you and your husband!
This is unlike any other diet you will find....it was the most inspiring and life changing 'diet' & bible study I have found. Worked for me. If you have any questions or whatever, feel free to contact me...

First of all, good for you in taking charge of your health in this way! It is hard to do. You'll probably be offered many different diets that people swear by, but the thing is some things work for some people and others work for other people. My suggestion is to find a nutritionist to work with you individually rather than follow some mass one-size-fits-all program. And as I am sure you already know, exercise will also play a vital role in that plan. Check into your health insurance, it may even cover part of the cost of a nutritionist. God bless and good luck.
