the park just north of westminster city hall. has a peter pan theme. it's on 92nd a couple blocks east of sheridan.
olde town arvada (olde wadsworth and 57th) - look on the city's website, it doesn't run continuously
there used to be one just west of the Museum of Nature and Science at City park. haven't paid attention the last couple times I was down there.

Yes, what part of Denver are you looking at? In the northern part Westminster there are some at the Promenade and the Orchard. There are some in the Stapleton area at a park called Central Park I think but the last time I was there the fountains weren't on. Not sure if that is the norm. Hope that helps.

I am excited to see other responses so we can check them out too!

Well, not sure of Denver but if you go a little south to southglenn mall area they have some splash areas that kids can play in, kind of small. Also, at Southlands mall they have some bigger fountains. There is also a park in Castle Rock that does some fountains etc and I know there is one in Lone Tree, but those all may be too far south for you...

There one in Lakewood, but it's the only one around this side of town (that I know of), so it's crowded (it's near BelMar).

ETA: Oh yeh - not a splash pad but kids often play in the area next to the Museum of Natural History. Water shoots up gently from the concrete pad - it's not a fountain - and seems to have been built for this.

Southlands has one big fountain area right across from the theater (Smokey Hill and E-470). There is also a fountain park west of Gunclub Rd on Iliff - has huge fountain area with areas of water that can be about ankle deep. This one doesn't have a ton of shade, so take an umbrella or go early to get a good spot.
