The Fountains shopping center also has a water feature for kids to run through. We were there for dinner last night and watched the kids having a great time! It's near the park area.

Hi J.. Whitney Ranch Park in Rocklin is a great park and it has a water park. Whitney Ranch is one of the few parks that doesn't use recycled water. What that means is each time the sprinklers comes on, it's fresh water. From what I have heard, most of the parks use recycled water so the kids play in the water, it goes down the drain and then it comes up again with the next cycle. Knowing what kids can do in water, the thought of the same water flowing over my child over and over again is kind of scary. I would recommend if you are trying any new water parks to call and ask if the water is recycled water or if it's pumped fresh.

There is a great public park on Rocklin Road right next to their city hall. It has fountains that are meant to be run through and a playground with toys for older kids divided from toys for younger kids. There are picnic tables and grass. The fountains have a button that is like the cross-walk buttons, you have to push it periodically to make the fountains turn on.

The only parks I know about are the ones with pools. Rusch Park in Citrus Heights has a fountain "shower" in their pool. It is nice because is a walk in pool, so little ones can play in inches of water.

Roseville Aquatic Center also has a play structure with spraying water, at least I assume they still do -- its been awhile since we've been there.

I read that they are opening up a new aquatic center in Antelope also that looks like it will be fun!

Hi J., there are the Fountains in Roseville that opened last Nov, they turn on their "splash area" on when the weather is nice.
Also, in Antelope, less than 10 min drive from Roseville, is a brand new aquatic center. I just signed my son up for swim lessons. There is a water slide, splash area, ect and a special tot time so the little kids don't get ran over. Open play/swim starts May 18th, I believe, and is only around $3 for fee for adults and free for under 2 years old. You can check them out online at sunriseparks.com. Good luck and have fun in the sun!!

There is one off of Lonetree too, we had my son's birthday party there a couple years ago, I think it's about 3 years old. From Blue Oaks if you turn onto Lonetree towards RC Willeys it will be past RC willeys on the right side
