My husband happened to wash a dark pink shirt that I had set aside because it bleeds color, along with everything else. Now one of my nicer cotton dress shirts is pink. I soaked it immediately in Oxi Clean but it's not removing the pink color. Is there anything I can do? It has been a couple of days since it happened - it has been sitting in Oxi Clean solution and has not been put in drier. Please let me know if you have any ideas to remove the pink dye.

I made a paste with oxi clean and used a wash cloth to blot out red dye out of a white sleeper for my baby. The sleeper was mine and the cuffs and collar bled when I washed it. It came out completely and I had even put the sleeper in the washer without realizing it had red all over it. Who would think a 31yo sleeper that had been washed multiple times would bleed? Good luck
Carbona makes a color run remover. I have not tried it personally but it would be worth a try.
I dont know if you have "Rit" dyes available, we do here, in the drug store. They have a whitener, stinks, but you put the powder in water on the stove & add cloth item, it will return to white in seconds.
Maybe try rewashing it with one of the Shout sheets. They are to keep clothes from bleeding on to other clothes. I wonder if you wash it by itself, if it would suck that extra dye out. Maybe spray the spots with Spray and Wash first (ive used that on light bleeds before and it has worked). Good Luck!
