- throw a scoop in a load. oxy clean is awesome! But, it doesn't work in my HE washer. so, I soak in the sink and then rinse and put in the washer.

I've been using it by itself, but the box calls it a "detergent boost". The instructions don't make it seem like I am to use it in conjunction with regular detergent....

- Use both. And you don't need to use it with every wash...just the really gross ones.
- Ditto what Christy P said... I just sprinkle some in the loads that are awful, like anything that's bloody, muddy, grass stained, or puked on ;)
- I believe you use it with your detergent or you can soak it in oxyclean prior and then run it through the washer with only detergent. I have the oxyclean baby
