Hi ladies -- Wondering if anyone has any experience with the Dr. Natura Colonix cleansing program...was your experience positive or negative? Would love to hear from you. I am thinking about trying it out and would like to hear from others who have tried it as well. Thanks

A.

21 day herbal cleansing program

hello my name is G. and i am a herbalife member in connecticut. i have been a client for now 4 year and have been doing the business for over 2 1/2 years. my wife and i own a nutrition center in which we help people everyday to better their nutrition. some come to lose weight, some come just for nutrition alone. and other come to gain healthy weight. some come just for the social gatherings. you start to build relationship and in time you notice that your herbalife family grows. it been amazing and we are extremely happy what we do. if anyone is interested in starting our nutrition, please don’t hesitate to call me. we have many products for total nutrition. we are not a weight loss company like people label us. we are simply nutrition. we are not medicine. we don’t cure or treat. because that is what medicine is. you only take it after you got sick or ill. we provide nutrition for health and wellness. if you give you body nutrition everyday like it needs. positive things will begin to happen in your body. so in the end not only will you get the results you wanted, lose, gain, maintain. but you will start to feel amazing, more energy. all around changes. we also help people that want to start making a few extra dollar a month if they choose to. joining us is not mandatory. you can simply stay a client with no pressure from us. im looking forwards in speaking with a lot of you.

I've used the Dr. Natura....it is pretty good. The pills are kind of gross...I had a tendency to burp them up throughout the day...unpleasant. The fiber mixture is bearable, but only if you mix it with juice and shake it up. The tea is okay as well, but make sure you are very close to the bathroom for several hours in the morning, especially for the first week or so! I lost about 10 pounds while doing it, but I was trying to eat better and drink a lot of water as well, so I can't say it was the Colonix itself. I'd say give it a try!

Hi A.,

I have done Dr. Natura's Colonix program and highly recommend it.

I found out in Aug 2008 that I had heavy metal toxicity and, since I needed to clean my body out because of that, decided I would try an all-natural body/colon cleanse, so that I could completely cleanse my body. I did the complete package deal--the Paranil, the ToxinOut, the DeToxiGreen, the Colonix, and the KleriTea, along with the FloraProtect.

While I believe it helped clean out my system, it also brought to light a variety of other problems I didn't know I had, like food allergies, food intolerances, and I'm currently looking into Celiac disease and Dermatitis Herpetiformis (I see a gastroenterologist the end of April).

I'm on a second "round" of using the ToxinOut program, as the first round didn't totally get rid of the heavy metals (I'm hoping the second time was the charm). I have continued to use the Colonix (best fiber product I've ever found), the DetoxiGreen (because I have a genetic cell dysfunction, where my body doesn't detox meds and chemicals and heavy metals well, so might as well do a daily cleanse of those items), and the FloraProtect (because I haven't found another probiotic that has as many strains and as much strength as this one does).

I've suffered from constipation my entire life; now that I've cleansed my body and take Colonix daily, I have at least one bowel movement a day. It's been...an interesting journey. I wanted to clean my body out and get rid of the mental fog I've been under for awhile--which I did--but what really surprised me was all the other medical issues that came to light along with the cleanse. So now I'm busy, working on resolving those issues.

I am glad I spent the money. It eases my mind to know that my body is clean of toxins and muck and all that other disgusting stuff they talked about on the website. I didn't see a lot of the "gunk," but then, that could be because of the other medical conditions I've got going.

Good luck!

I tried one years ago but am due for another. I think it's always a good idea to do a thorough cleansing of the colon - at least every year.
They say if you aren't having as many outputs as you input, you are plugged up, which includes just about everyone of us. Sorry to be so gross there. Keep us posted!

I'm currently halway into 1 month of doing Dr. Natura. A friend and I went in and got 4 mths total (save money the more you buy) but I decided to only do 1 month so I'm not expecting any weight loss results. You take some pills in the morning and then 15 minutes later you mix a powder with water. In the evening you drink an herbal tea before bed. That's it...nothing too invasive. Really I have nothing negative to say about it and I think cleanses are good for a person to do periodically. I have heard great weightloss results from people who have used it for the 2-3 month recommended timeframe. (oh and I've never seen what they show in the pictures on the website :-)

HI A.
Don't know about that one. If you want to check out a non- expensive gentle one-- I work with a company that has one called 21 day cleanse. We've had people use it where the barium comes out from years earlier- crayon eating as a kid hidden in pockets. No bad side effects, gentle, no runs etc.

My husband and I used it last year and were happy with it. We did not experience a "shocking" amount of waste, but it felt good to do anyway. I have been meaning to order it again this year.

Hi A.! I have never used the Dr. Natura but I have done several other cleanses.
A colon cleanse should always include activated charcol or bentonite clay. A wonderful cleanse that I have found is from www.herbdoc.com it's a combination of a drink that contains bentonite (this is consumed 5 times per day) and a herbal capsule to be taken in the evenings. The cleanse lasts 5 days.
Beware of cleanses that promise shocking weight gain or tell you that you will find the penny that you swallowed when you were four. Also, cleanses should be gentle with no sprinting to the bathroom!
While you are cleansing you should not eat sugar or refined grains- it kind of defeats the purpose.
Don't listen to those who say cleansing is harmful. That is based on outdated medical studies. There are many benefits to cleansing, as long as you do it the right way and purchase a quality cleanse.

I wouldn't do it. There is no medical or scientific evidence that it is necessary or helpful, and it can be harmful.

If you're constipated, however, then you could try an enema or suppository or other remedy.

I haven't used that particular one but have used others. I believe every one should clean out at least 2 times a year.
