Book "Jacket" Covers

You could cut and fold and make nice "thank you" cards out of them.
I use the fronts of Christmas cards that have pretty pictures on them (and no writing on the inside front flap) and cut them into circles or squares, hole punch and tie on as gift tags for Christmas gifts.
Depending on the size of the image, you could cut out and make bookmarks, hole punch the top and tie on a yarn tassle.
Wrapping paper?
Get a wooden box (craft store?) and decopage (sp) the pictures on it for your child.
Frame them.

ooh, cool idea! Never thought of doing anything with them. You could cut squares out of all of them the same size, and create a "quilt" and frame it . . .?

In my son's room is a book shelf that has tons of book jackets that were shallaced on it. It was a class project that was auctioned off at one of the Gala's. I love it!

I usually throw them away because they get all crumpled on the shelves, no matter how careful we are with them. I wish I'd thought of something creative to do...you could make a spiffy collage out of them, for sure.

The ideas so far are great, especially having them cover a bookshelf! If the colors don't match your children's rooms, then donate them to the children's section of a library, wither the school or community one! Or, you can just use them as part of arts and crafts at home. Have fun!
