My son is being the biggest turd today! I have caught him scaling the shelves in the pantry trying to get goodies. While I was vacuuming, I caught him drinking a bottle of syrup! He insisted on sitting on the toilet for 1 hour so he could poop. He didnt poop, and he SCREAMED the entire time I gave him a bath! I am so glad he is going to Ma Ma and Pa Pa's tonight! Ahhhh! I know I will miss him whens hes gone, but hes driving me crazy!!! Are your kids making you want to drink today?

What can I do next?

No. Mine are older and I am missing my eldest today. He has been at camp since Sunday and won't be home until tomorrow, late. My youngest has been a whirlwind helping me clean the house today (she's 10)...scrubbing toilets, starting laundry, pulling weeds outside....
But I HAVE had days like that, lol.....

LOL, my son is like that EVERY DAY! That being said, my kids have been awesome today. My almost 6 and 7 year old daughters watched their brother most of the day, and were hell bent on taking care of everything themselves, so, COOL!! They made lunches for the 3 of them, had snacks, changed the tv channel, stacked the dishwasher... yeah, can't complain :)

ROFL...

Last week (ds9) we actually had to "start over" on Thursday for the first time in a few years... it was sooooooo bad... or he would have been grounded into his mid 70's. It was a nightmare day. The day before he spent the *entire* day grounded in his room.

This week, he's been pretty fantastic.

Mine take turns. Yesterday was my daughters turdy day, today is my sons. I almost wish they were both crappy on the same days and nice on the same days. I forget what pleasant is some times :-)
Yes, I now understand why my mother is an alcoholic. I have beverages waiting for me.

Im writing back 20 min later......my daughter is now throwing a full blown tantrum because I told her I liked her painting and I LOOKED at it before she was done with it (she was nowhere near the picture). Yep--lots of drinks tonight.

I bought a bottle of wine at the store for dinner. If they continue on the path they're on, then I'll be pulling out the hard liquor, lol!

While we were at the store, the kids were getting antsy and frustrated, so as the supermom I try to be, I decided to do everything in my power to make them laugh and forget whatever it was they were arguing about. The youngest (8) was under the cart laying down. I kept making hard turns and she was holding on for dear life while the older three were laughing. Well, we were in the milk aisle and she asked me to stop a minute so she could fix her pants. I stopped dead in my tracks, the cart jerked to a stop and the youngest went flying. I must have had a deer in the headlights look (because I didn't know how she would react) and she just lost it! All four kids were laughing so hard I thought someone was going to pee themselves! There were two other families in the aisle. A younger couple who laughed and an older woman who asked if I meant to do that.

...2 minutes later they were fighting again.

Calgon take me away!

YES! it was my darling of a dughter today, usually it is my son who gives me a run for my money... oh what occured today... she was queen of the grumpy pants all day! just a few things that happened :

1.. asked olivia to stop spinning around with the kitten and when i took the kitten away from her asked why the cats tail was wet and got the answer "oh cause it was in my mouth".

2.. she hit her brother in the head becase he hit her this morning, so i told her to go sit on the stairs and in turn she stomped her feet yelling "no i want to be good now mom!!!" and then in turn knocked over my folded laundry pile..

3.. ok i dont need a 3, i am glad she is asleep !

Well my grandson is being his normal emotional self, one minute happy, one minute a butt :) Our 1 year old daycare child has been the same, one minute a blessing and the next screaming when he doesn't get his way instantly. Our 3 year old daycare boy was taking everything he could away from the 1 year old and my grandson. So he was isolated to play in a corner by himself. I have a 6 year old boy that was awesome until he threw a block at a laptop screen. Thankfully the screen is okay. But I put the boy down for a nap. He's always been rough on things and needs a strict hand to curb it. We have a 2 year old girl that's sweet as can be. But she's a redhead, has the temper to go with it and when she doesn't get her way she barfs. It's pretty gross. She didn't throw up for 3 months. Then suddenly she started again. Today she threw up for her dad on the way to the house. I had to get the hose to clean it up and now she's playing happily. She'll go home in 1/2 an hour. I want to let her go. But I don't have the heart. She's only in care for 45 minutes per day 3-4 days per week. Mom and dad just can't find other people willing to do such a short time.

I don't drink and I am actually calling this a really good day. These little problems have been rather low and uneventful today. Mostly they've been great kids :)

My kids are good today, thankfully!!! Except that my 15 month old screamed the whole way home from Costco. I'm talking the high pitched angry scream not the crying scream. But other than that and the fact that two of mine are gone, LOL they're being good...LOL

Yah, my kids were Turds this morning.
But they are not home now and are at school, their summer programs.
Sigh.

So I am having a self-instituted day off for me, until they get home.
Then the ruckus ensues.
Oh well.

My kids, are so active and rascal and have voices like a Trumpet and are like Bonnie & Clyde. Literally. (I have a boy and girl).
But well, they make me smile.
When they are not making me crazy.

I can totally relate! We've got a head cold making it's rounds though the house so we have a bunch of Grumpy Gusses from lack of sleep and feeling icky. My husband was gone all week for work so it was me and the kids. He got in last night but his flight was delayed for close to 2 hours. The kids fought going to sleep because they wanted to wait until he got home. That didn't happen until almost 2AM. I did get them to bed before that but it was still late. Of course this does not mean they slept in, maybe slightly but they should have slept longer.
Husband is trying to catch up on the last of his work week now.
And of course we have a vacation starting Wednesday that we have to get ready for and they are doing nothing to help and making messes behind me faster than I can clean them up.
We will survive! You're not alone :)

I thought he was SO whiny cuz he stayed up so late (celebrating Daddie's Bday!) but maybe the full moon? I'd be drinking right now (4:15) if I wasnt hoping to go run errands ALONE the second my hubby gets home. Wouldn't an hour alone at the grocery store be Heaven

Yes,Yes,Yes. My friend and I were just talking about what had gotten into our sweet babies LOL. My 3 year old snuck cookies and hit them in the couch cushions this morning I guess and by the time I found them they were crumbs for me to clean up...my 1 year old screamed all night for some unknown reason and even when the boy I babysits mother dropped him off she said "Good Luck". LOL!! Its just one of those days **sigh** I do imagine I will be drinking straight from the wine bottle tonight ;)
