Hi, my husband and I just moved here in April with our 2 year old daughter Kyra. I was wondering if there were any great parks around NAS Pensacola area that we can take her to. Even if it's across town, that would still be fine...we just need to get her out of the house and let her run some energy out!!! Please Help!!!

What can I do next?

Hi N., I know they just recently built the Perdido Kid Park out in your area. I'm not quite sure where it is but I'm sure you can look it up on the internet. There is also an Optimist Park off Langley Ave. on the other side of town. Another park is off Hwy 29 (north, in Cantonment) it is a little far from you but it is a really nice park . They have a toddler section with toys for the younger kids and it was just redone about a year ago. Hope this was helpful. I would try to give directions but I'm not really good at that, I can get myself there but that's about it. Hope she enjoys it.

they just recently built this one, we've only been to it once (due to the fact that we live wwaayy cross town) but my son had a blast. if i can recall correctly, the park was located right outside one of the base gates (or something that extremely resembled a base gate! lol)

I had a hard time finding parks when I moved here also, here is website I found that helped me to locate all the coolest ones. There are pictures on here, and they are a pretty good explanation of what kind of playground equipment there is at each park. Email me if you would like to know anymore.

Perdido Kids park off Gulf Beach Hwy - best time early mornings during the week crowded on weekends - or if military Corry Soccer Field Park. Triple Play indoor bounce room has several HUGE inflatables BRAND NEW and $9 for 4hrs. Super nice and fun for adults too! Its off of 10 mile p'cola/cantonment area.
