My husband and I have a daughter Kenzie and it took us almost the entire 9 months to come up with that name! I'm a fan of the odd, different names, especially for girls and my husband isn't! I love Belle, Finley, Avery, Dylan, Blake, Landry. Good luck!!

I have two girls ...Lauren Ashleigh and Taylor Anne
Congrats and Good Luck!!!

I have a daughter named Hailey too! Spelled the same way! My first childs name is Tyler, and when he was just a few weeks old he ended up in the hospital with bronchitis. Anyways, he had to share his room with another lil baby with the same problems and her name was Tayler. She was the cutest lil girl and the name suited her. Ive always liked that name. Just an idea that came to mind when I read your request. Good luck to you!! Hope everything goes well!!

When I was expecting my third daughter, her father decided she could not have an ordinary name. So he set out to create an original...he blended my name with the other two girls. Our names: S., Jessica, Melani. This became Mychia (pronounced Ma-ki-ah). It fits her so well, as she is an orginal!! He had fun doing it, and the first two had fun helping. We get compliments on her name all the time. And, it's a fun story to tell. I wish you well on your search for names. Don't sweat it too much, you'll know the name when you hear it.

Here are some we liked. a little more traditional.
Lillian (Lillie)
Rebecca
Emma (the only vowel-starting one we could wrap ourselves around)
Catharine
Natalie
Sophie
Rebecca Renee/Renae

I would have to say if we ever have a girl, it will be:
Norah
Grace
Brynn
or
Claire
Good luck in your baby naming. If you go to babynames.com you can type in a name you like and see what other people think of when they hear that name...check it out!

My daughter's name is Mersadies Lane. We love it and get so many compliments on it. My husband and I decided that if we ever have another girl her name will be Cambria Rae. We also contemplated using Rylan adn Hannah when we had our daughter. Anyway, Good Luck and Congratulations!

As a mother of 5 girls I named them uncommon first names and a common middle name so they could choose what they wanted to go by. I have lots of girls names that I like one of the most recent that I saw was Neveah.

My girls are named Marilyln Rose, Darlene Marie, Lavina Ann, Talia Kay and Shalelah Belle. My granddaughter is named Angelynn Aisha.

There are LOTS of very beautiful girls names out there. Good luck in your quest, and have fun :)

Blessings,
M.

I love the name Alexis Jordon for a girl.

My nieces names are Erika and Ciera and my sisters name is Sarah. My sister has a hard time finding the right name for the girls and it always comes out as Sarika or Cierika. I think they are both cute and need to be in a book of baby names.

I have a little girl named Isabella Grace,, we call her Bella Grace (beautiful Grace in italian). btw-we are not italian at all..
i was in bible study talking about God's beautiful Grace when the name came to me,, Bella Grace Pauline. i was 25 weeks or so pg. then my water broke at 26 weeks. and we needed a name to ask for specific prayers for her. she came at 28 weeks.
my husband suggested Isabella and call her Bella for short since he wanted a name we could shorten. so we went with that.

Definitely look at the US Social Security Website for a list of names that other people have used. (http://www.socialsecurity.gov/OACT/babynames/) I just had a baby in November and would use this whenever I was contemplating a name. I did not want anything in the top 50. But, I ended up choosing a name that is not on there at all! Also, I would say to look at movie credits, and just look around you everywhere, it might be closer than you think! I named my daughter Holland, I first saw her name in a movie credit, and then would see the Holland Reality signs everyday! I love her name!! Other names I liked are Sadie, Svea and we were also fond of Elli, which became our daughter's middle name. Good luck!!
