I'm considering getting wii fit and wanted opinions. Is it challenging? do you actually work up a sweat and feel like you get a workout? Secondly, I'd like to find a mother/daughter yoga class somewhere close to Bloomington - not a toddler one, however. My daughter is 8. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

We offer a mom-and-me yoga class at our studio, for ages 5 and up. If you are interested, you can get more info at www.mothersdayinc.com or call us at ###-###-####. (We also have a children's playroom program on site for younger children, if you would be bringing an infant or toddler who needs supervision.) The studio is located in Chanhassen, about 15 minutes west of Bloomington.

My husband just bought me a wii fit for my birthday last month and it is great. I do work up a sweat and it is definately challenging. It has alot of great exercises and games to play too. It keeps track of your workouts and calories burned. My 5yr old, 8yr old and 14yr old are able to use it too.

I enjoy my Wii Fit, but unlike the other posters I don't find that I work up a sweat. Maybe I'm doing the wrong exercises! I saw that Nintendo is coming out with a Wii Fit Plus.

I LOVE my Wii Fit! Yes, you can work up a sweat - and there are so many fun options. My daughter and I play Wii together in the evenings; it has introduced her to new sports and gotten me up off the couch.
