A Question for Moms Who Were Pregnant 10 Years Ago

I was using Elancyl lotion to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. It was sold in maternity stores with a small lime green bag for $32.50. Ladies who were pregnant 10 years ago, can you remember this product? Did any of you use it? I never checked the ingredients on the lotion, and I feel very guilty about it now. If somebody knows what was in it, I'll appreciate your response.

What can I do next?

Try googling it to find out the ingredients and maybe you can even email the company to find out what exactly the ingredients were back then. Good luck.

K.,
I don't know why you may be feeling guilty about using this product 10 years ago. My son is 11 and I vaguely remember the name Elancyl. If my memory serves me correctly, the packaging was teal blue and white. There was a soap that you could put in a handheld massager-type doo-dad and you could use it in the bath/shower to help with cellulite/rough skin, etc. I used this product, along with the cream, which smelled so good!! What have you heard about it? Whatever.... we all are doing the best we can in life. One day we are told that something is safe, and the next month we find out that it may cause cancer, etc. Who can keep up with all of the chemicals, information, misinformation, etc.??? Don't worry about it!! Just do what you can now to get and stay educated. And moderation is fine.

Do you feel guilty because you think the ingredients were harmful? I highly doubt it. Don't worry or feel bad.

This is what I found by googling it.

Hope this helps. I know someone else stated that it has been discontinued but I found quite a few websites where you can buy it. It's pretty expensive though.

The best thing you can ever use for stretch marks is Arbonne's rejuvenating cream and skin conditioning oil. It's herbal/botanical and works wonders!!!!

Just curious - why're you feeling guilty now?
