2 Embarassing Questions

I have 2 very embarassing questions...okay, here goes nothing
1. I have very stinky gas. No matter what I eat (healthy or not) it never semms to be just "air". My husband gives me grief about it all the time. I know he's just teasing but it still bugs me. When I was pregnant with both of my kids, it was worse. My ob nurse said it was normal and that I was eating healthy. Would Beano work or is that for just "air" with no stink? Sorry for TMI.
2. I am have a problem with sweating. No matter what I do my deodorant won't keep me dry. It is an antiperspirant/deodorant. I've tried different brands. Have any of you tried the "clinical" secret? I'm at a loss on both of these things. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.
T.
UPATE: I am also on 4 prescription medications. The problem was there before I started so I don't think that's it.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well, I bought the beano and it worked quite well! Thank you for the suggestion. The funny thing is, I've been taking it since Monday and my husband hasn't said a word either way. I still have gas a little but the frequency and smell have decreased quite a bit. I'm also going to try the secret clinical (wow, it's expensive) and I'll keep my eye out for coupons. Sometimes if you go to the website of a product you can get samples or coupons.
Thanks again, T. ;)

I have the same problem you have for question one. I have found that any dairy will give me really bad smelly gas. Even milk chocolate is very evil coming out of my body. I stay away from most dairy. I found that sour cream and milk chocolate are the worst culprits. I can have small amounts of cheese and yogurt and have no reprocutions(sp?). I have never tried beano. It is worth a try, but also try to cut out or cut down the dairy intake and see what happens. Good Luck!

I use the Clinical Degree and I will say that it definitely helps. After I had my daughter, nothing I used was helping with the sweat, but the Clinical Degree works. It's a little more expensive, but definitely worth the cost.

BTW Beano really does work. My mom had really bad gas and she uses it. There was a lot less complaining from my dad once she started putting it on all her veggies. :)

My digestive system is gassy no matter what I eat--and the gas is noticeable stinky! At work I would burn a candle, but then the office building said no more "open flames". So I got a plug-in for my workspace. In shared/public bathrooms I do the flush-to-cover to quickly dispel the gas (or poop) and try not to stink up the bathroom. I tried Beano, but it does nothing for me. In my purse I keep a small spray bottle of "room fragrance" and try to spray it discreetly in places like waiting rooms. This problem makes me self-conscious, but I just try to mitigate it. Luckily at home, I can just go into another room, but I still burn canles.
Anti-persperent: I use Dry Idea, a roll on that dries very quickly. It works well.

That is definately a problem a lot of us can relate to. Mine is related to diet... I do eat healthy for the most part but anything like brocolli, cabbage, brussel sprouts etc it is embarrassing to say the least. I also notice it worse when I am stressed. I have not yet tried Beano and hope someone can say it works on here!

When all else fails... get a dog and blame him! lol

As for AP/deodorant... I use Mitchum the unscented one. I still do sweat but not nearly as much. I was using a bunch of the other AP/D and found that after an hour or two I was getting stinky and my parents suggested to try this. It worked for us and lasts all day.

Good luck and next time your hubby makes fun... do it under the covers and pull them over his head like he would do to you- bet it would be the last time he does that! Please know that I am not laughing at you, I am laughing with you as I have the same problems!!!

Blessings to you!

You could have a food intolerance, maybe dairy maybe something else. I'd get that checked out with a doctor. Your sweating could be a food reaction as well. You can get a food allergy test and find out and then avoid the food.

I'm in the middle of a colon cleanse. So far it's been going very well! I have more energy, I'm more regular and of course less gassy. There are lots of colon cleanses out there so you could find the one that works for you.

I'm on this one http://www.drnatura.com/ but like I said, there are many types out there.

Good luck!

yes Beano will work

yes I can only use clinical strength deoderant now that I have had kids. Something about having them changed my body chemistry so nothing else works.
