Things to Do When You Have Two (Or More) Young Toddlers

Hi Mamasourcers! I've recently read some of the posts about things to do in the area and the ideas are excellent -- we've tried a bunch of those places ourselves (DuPage Children's Museum, Little Village, etc.)! But I've always had my husband along with me so that one of us was constantly monitoring one child. I'm hoping to hear from some of you Moms who have kids close in age. Inexpensive Things to Do with Toddler

I have a soon to be 3 year old that I am now home with. I do not have the money to sign him up for expensive park district or YMCA classes. Do you have any suggestions on inexpensive things we can do (classes, activities, etc) to help keep him entertained? He will be attending preschool 2 mornings a week - but on the other mornings, I'd like to get him out, meeting other kids and enjoying himself rather than cooped up in the house. I know there are always parks to go to - but it seems we did that a lot this summer. I'm hoping for...
