We have been taking our son to USF Pediatrics at 17 Davis Blvd on Davis Island. We have seen Dr Landis since Logan was newborn. They have Sat and Holiday hours and are wonderful at returning phone calls. Dr Landis takes all of my questions seriously, is to the point, and never makes me feel silly. We also take our son to Pediatric Health Care Alliance. The office we go to regularly is in FishHawk (Lithia), but we have been to the "after hours" office in Tampa, too. All of the peds. we've seen have been WONDERFUL. Good luck!
We go to Healthpoint- Dr Mankodi and I like them but I do not love my Ped so I am planning to switch to Pediatric Healthcare Alliance. The one I am planning to go to is in Lithia, but they have other offices. Good Luck.
A friend recommended Dr. Marcy Solomon Baker to me - she is part of the Health Point group at 1202 S. Church Avenue (up by Publix on Dale Mabry). There are two other doctors in the group - but we have only gone to Dr. Baker. She's very direct, very matter-of-fact, and we have liked her a great deal. Our daughter is 3 months old and we've been a couple of times. We had a Saturday emergency - and although Dr. Baker wasn't on call that day, another branch was open and we saw a Dr. Jacobson who was terrific. The Church Street office has the well waiting area and we've never waited more than maybe five or ten minutes for our appointment - they stay pretty on time.
